What time is morning rush hour typically over on I 95 south from NH to Boston?
I need to be at work by 11 and I am driving from Portsmouth. Is this possible? Or is rush-hour in the morning still bad after 9:30?
A-Best: Rush hour should end at 9:30am.
I would leave Portsmouth around 8am, and by the time you get to Boston, the roads should be somewhat cleared.
A: Traffic is still bad but not horrendous. Have you considered taking the train from Newburyport or Haverhill?

Traffic is lighter during the summer months, right now I'd plan on it taking an hour to go from Portsmouth to the intersection of I95 and I93.
After school starts, I'd add at least a 1/2 hour to that.
